Abstract
The article gives an observation of social and patriotic activities initialized by credit comradeships of the Vyatka province in the early period of the first world war. This initiatives were approved during the first conference of representatives of credit comradeships, held in Vyatka in September 1914. Alongside with discussions on economical matters, the participants took a decision to organize help for families of draftees. This initiative of provincial credit comradeships, that supplemented governmental help, was carried to Emperor by sending him telegram.
