Abstract
In article activity of the Penza authorities, first of all, of regional committee on affairs of physical culture and sport, on preparation and professional development of judges of the region in the second half of 1940 – the beginning of the 1950th is considered: holding seminars for judges; accounting of statistics of judges on sports and categories; organization of recertification of judges, etc.
