Abstract
In this article, euphemisms are discussed in terms of language reflection of the culture and the attitudes of the Uighur people. The main thematic groups of euphemisms in Uighur are highlighted and zones of euphemistic nomination that characterize the peculiarities of communicative behavior of Uighurs are defined, linguocultural and ethnolinguistic commentary on examples of euphemisms in several thematic groups are given, methods of euphemization characteristic of the Uighur language are analyzed, ethical aspects of the euphemistic nomination are discussed.
