Abstract
The article is dedicated to the investigation of gender aspects of the fiction translation on the example of the translations of J.K. Rowling’s novel "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". The conclusion is that translator’s gender has an impact on his translation, but it is not an absolute value.
