Abstract
In this article, based on archival and statistical materials of Bashkortostan examines the development of regional education in the cultural and leisure sector in the first post-Soviet decade. The author reveals and describes the characteristic features and similarities in the training of club employees, in comparison with the data of Privolzhsky Federal district and in Russia on average. Analyzes the challenges and achievements in the provision of cultural and leisure facilities specialists.
