Abstract
The article presents the results of the study of gender and age features of positive personal qualities, such as subjective well-being, happiness, hope, subjective success, the ability to define life goals, emotional maturity, awareness of the present, life satisfaction, commitment to personal growth and initiative to it, the tendency to curiosity and exploration, the motivation to search for meaning in life and an awareness of this sense of gratitude. Found that positive personal qualities in general practically does not reveal gender or age specificity. It has been found that women have a higher level of subjective hope, than men. The maximum level of subjective characteristic of hope is characteristic for women aged 21-35 years. The article may be of concern to all psychologists interested in issues of age and gender differences or positive psychology.
