Abstract
This article analyzes the value orientations of the individual in modern Korean culture. They are disclosed through parameters of the relationship to man, nature, time, the focus of human activity. Attempts to understand the ratio of traditions and innovations on the example of the culture of South Korea. Stresses the importance of these factors in the process of intercultural communication.
