Abstract
The article based on the Quebec press materials tells about a new Quebec government language politics for French language protection after the Quiet Revolution of 60-s. The analysis of the French language Charter and the Society reaction to its adoption in the conditions of economic globalisation and the reinforcement of English language Status as a general one is given in this work.
