THE PLACE OF SOCIAL WORK IN SYSTEM OF THE HELPING PROFESSIONS

Abstract
Article is devoted to determination of the place of social work in system of the helping professions, the circumstances promoting resistant requirement of society for professional social work are described. In article importance of professional training of specialists of the social sphere in higher education institution is emphasized that affects quality of the solution of a number of the tasks facing the social worker for achievement of a particular purpose. The basic principles of the helping professions are listed, the areas of professional activity duplicating functions of social work and influencing quality of the services provided to clients of social work are revealed.
