Abstract
One of the main directions of the state regional policy in the Russian Federation supports interregional cooperation. In this sphere the special role played by the institution of representation of constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The Republic of Tatarstan has positive experience of formation and development of the system of Plenipotentiary and Permanent missions of the Republic in the regions. For example, the Permanent mission of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Sverdlovsk region the article analyzes the trade-economic, scientific-technical, cultural and humanitarian ties and contacts of the Republic with other subjects of the Russian Federation and proposes measures to improve these activities.
