Abstract
The article describes the possibilities of a qualitative study of "self-development" category in the structure of the preparation of the future teacher of physical culture. Features of use of teaching modeling and teaching methodology in constructing categorical apparatus associated with the conditions of self-realization and socialization in the culture and education model.
