Abstract
The article, which dedicated to the activity of the Kazakh politician, scientist A.N. Bukeikhanov, discusses the mutual influence of Russian democratic and Kazakh intellectuals in the end of the XIX- beginning of XX century. Young representatives of national intellectuals, educated in the leading educational institutions of the Russian Empire, were able to absorb all the most worthy and valuable in the knowledge of the Russian democratic social and political thought and lead the struggle for the independence of the Kazakh people.
