Abstract
In the article the modern Russian and foreign studies devoted to the problem of discrimination against other based on appearance. The conclusion about the relevance of the topic indicates that the topic of demand and little studied. Separately, the question is raised about the need to study ethno-cultural discrimination in appearance, when the features of appearance of different ethnic groups are the trigger categorization and discrimination.
