Abstract
This article is devoted to the analysis of innovative development of small and medium enterprises on the example of Kursk region. This study allows us to conclude that the state and society as a whole are interested in the existence and growth in the number of such enterprises effective as a social phenomenon. In this regard, the paper considers the main prospects of development of this sector in Kursk region.
