Abstract
In the present article we discuss the features of the use of social networks and blogs by politicians of the Pskov region as an instrument of political influence on the minds of their potential voters. The author of this paper also makes a comparative analysis of the activity of politicians on social networks and blogs, as well as analyzes the attitude of the inhabitants of the city of Pskov to social networks and blogs as a source of political information.
