Abstract
The paper studied the formation of the components of cognitive activity of children of primary school age depending on a family relationship to the child. In this study, it was found that such components of cognitive activity as curiosity and cognitive interest of the child is reduced in the presence of a disharmonious situation in the family, in case it was studied dysfunctional families, in which there is a rejection of children.
