Abstract
This article discusses the causes of the crisis in modern housing and communal services and ways to improve its efficiency. Disclosed possible frameworks to attract investment in this sector, measures to increase the investment attractiveness of its individual elements. The basic directions and the state investment policy in the sphere of housing and communal services of the city of Yekaterinburg.
