Abstract
E. Zaitsev seeks to overcome the mythologies regarding the Adventist Church. The first is the sectarian image of this denomination perceived by post-Soviet society through the propaganda of tsarist and Soviet empires. A particular reflection of such image is a distanced and reproachful look at SDA on the part of evangelical majority of Eurasia. Second mythologem is Adventists' overly adoration of their past that prevents a sober self-reflection in actual reality.
