Abstract
The article examines gender roles inherent in modern writers and carried them in literary works. The main attention is paid to the problems of modern political system, religious life and the fate of the traditional culture. Revealed that due to lower male leading role, which increasingly associated with outdated patriarchal way of life to the forefront and becomes more influential female worldview. However, this does not mean simply changing roles of women and capture priority positions in society. Replace the existing way of patriarchal formation now comes some different model of society, whose name has yet to be invented.
