ARCHAEOLOGICAL SURVEY IN NORTHERN ALTAI

Abstract
In the paper provides information on archaeological survey in Northern Altai in the field season 2013. The survey was conducted in the three northern districts of the Altai Republic – Maiminsky, Choya and Turachakskiy. This area of Altai is the most poorly studied in archaeological terms. As a result of field research revealed four unknown before archaeological sites. They dated back by the stone implements and fragments of pottery to different periods from the Paleolithic to the ethnographic time.
