Abstract
Nowadays great attention is paid to teaching university senior students of economics to be able to read authentic texts with the aim of adequate understanding. The article deals with description of some methods of teaching how to understand economic terms, grammar structures, to read aloud and translate texts as the basis for further ability to read to oneself.
