Abstract
The article describes the structure of the democratic state, its main features. The main problems of formation of democracy in Russia, given good examples. In addition, the article indicated positive trends in the construction of a democratic state and provides a list of tasks which will help in the long term to eliminate the problems of the existing political regime in Russia.
