Abstract
The article analyses prepared by the archives of the southern Urals (regional archives of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Orenburg and Chelyabinsk regions) collections of documents and materials on the history of the great Patriotic war. Special attention is paid to the evacuation of the population, enterprises and organizations, factories, institutions of education, science and health, cultural values from the frontline during the great Patriotic war.
