Abstract
In the article he paper deals with the frequency of references to problems of ecological safety in the messages of the President of the Russian Federation Federal Assembly. The study was conducted by the method of discourse analysis. The sources were selected message of the President of the Russian Federation Federal Assembly from 1994 to 2014. This work reveals the importance of environmental issues at the state level, as well as trace the historical connection between the references to this subject and the events taking place in the country.
