Abstract
The article discusses with the existence and development of Russian classifiers OKONKH and OKVED, their structure , strengths and weaknesses, the comparative characteristic; studied their significance at the local, regional and global levels . The interrelation of these classifiers with those that are used in a variety of integration groupings , as well as the future prospects of OKVED existence.
