Abstract
The review of provisions of theories of sociology to a question of studying of an education system is presented in article. The analysis of institutional approach, provisions of a functionalism and positivism to a phenomenon of continuous education is made. Applicability of classical sociological approaches to the analysis of modern system of continuous education, accumulation and broadcast of knowledge at his various steps is staticized.
