Abstract
In this article one of the main competitive advantages of a higher educational institution – a rating is considered, and the review of endowment-fund (the target capital) as the indicator exerting impact on the higher education institution place in ratings is provided. Formations of endowment -funds is rather actual problem in the educational sphere now. The rating of the Russian higher education institutions of 2015 is given.
