Abstract
The article presents a definition of personality and the stages of social identity formation. The socialization of the individual is an important element in shaping and defining the human being as an independent unit and the individual. Social development of man can slow down the desire to be a leader in everything, or if the person is very unsure of himself and his abilities. Socialization of the individual as a personality is in a constant struggle with the trends and regulations that evolve and are shaped in modern society.
