Abstract
In this article the author discusses the problems of development of Institute of presidency in modern Russia. An appeal to the texts of Russian scientists shows various estimates of the prospects of the Russian presidency. However, do not doubt the fact that the stability of the political system of modern Russia projected on the institution of the presidency.
