AbstractThe «Cave towns» are among the best known and most frequently visited monuments of the Crimea. However, they are still not fully understood. The fact that their areas are usually not formed powerful cultural layer. The fact that the surface of these settlements are regularly cleans up by the people themselves, dumped garbage from the slope. This is understandable. The fact that the rock surface was used to collect water. The hardest thing to learn cult cave complexes. The fact that they practically do not accumulate deposits. The objects of the study could be only the remains of the layout and signs on the walls. The object of our study was one of these cave complexes, located on the slopes of the Chufut-Kale.
