Abstract
This article describes the substantial aspect of formation and development of the market of affordable rental housing in Russia. Describes the main types of leases that exist on the Russian housing market. Stresses the need to develop non-profit rental market in Russia and the importance of reforms in the housing sector, with the focus on rapid and fair resolution of the housing problem.
