Abstract
The article discusses the types of word problems studied on mathematics lessons in primary school. Explained why necessary to know the classification of the word problems, teachers of primary and basic schools and learners. The study showed the impossibility of constructing a unified classification, so presents a classification of word problems for different reasons.
