Abstract
The article describes actual aspects of investment support for creating and promoting innovation in the development of the territory. Defines the main directions of manifestations and increase in investment activity in the sphere of innovation in order to ensure the effective development of cities and regions. Emphasizes the importance of stimulation and state support for the process of forming a system of innovation and technological priorities of the strategy of innovative development of the regions and major cities.
