Abstract
This article deals with the problems of teaching a foreign language in a technical university. The first problem is academic hours’ insufficiency, which reflects at language skills level of students. Although the school level of English allows to master language skills for professional communication. The second problem is the illiterate use of electronic means and internet resources which affects development of speech skills.
