Abstract
The authors of article researches the Russian and foreign historiography of Russian-Turkish war 1877–1878; critically appreciates the numbers of Turks who were captured in Pleven, that can be found in different monographs; determines the approximate number of prisoners of war of Osman Pasha’s Army.
