Abstract
The article is devoted to the color palette analysis in the novel “Azazel” by B. Akunin and focuses on its role as one of the characteristics of the author's individual style. Color terms are examined both in the original book and in the translation into German made by A. Tretner. Moreover, the article presents the color terms translation methods analysis. The author compares color terms and color palette of the novel both in Russian and German.
