Abstract
The article presents the evolution of the state strategy for the revival China’s Philosophy and Social Sciences of China, the institutionalization of the strategy through the establishment of expert-analytical centers. The author provides a brief overview of the development of "think tanks" scientific research in China. Establishment of cultural "soft power" study is presented as part of the national policy of "think tanks" creation and as a tool of enhancing Chinese cultural power.
