Abstract
The article describes the history of radio development from the creation moment to nowadays, considering its technical aspects and its use. The role of radio is revealed starting with the Russo – Japanese War events and continuing with the following WWI and WWII. The article also reveals the development of troop control engines and their influence on battle conducting foundation.
