Abstract
In the article Simon’s character from W. Golding’s novel “Lord of Flies” is analyzed. The connection with the Bible is represented through the paradigm of comparison of Simon and Jesus. Besides, the relations of the character with other characters within the story are represented; symbolic significance and mysticism are analyzed.
