Abstract
The article briefly analyzes the main works on the ethics of translation written by authors from countries of the former USSR, describes the theoretical issues discussed in the context of the ethics of translation by foreign experts, as well as formulates one of the key characteristics that distinguishes many of the latest approaches from the traditional view of the ethics of translation.
