AbstractIn the article the comparative analysis of the investment attractiveness of the food industry in the Republic of Mordovia and Mari El Republic. The method of ranking was estimated investment attractiveness of OJSC "Lamzur" and OJSC "Yoshkar-Ola confectionary factory". We found a problem of low profitability of confectionery products of OJSC "Lamzur" and proposed further measures to ensure the sustainable development of the enterprise.Keywords: competitive advantage, food industry, investment attractiveness, Radar, ranking method
