SITUATIONAL LEADERSHIP: APPROACHES TO ORGANIZATION OF INDEPENDENT WORK OF STUDENTS IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS PROCESS OF TRAINING OF FUTURE MENEGERS

Abstract
This article deals with the problem of situational leadership. The theory of Paul Hersey and Ken Blanshar known as “the Theory of life cycle” is considered in this article. The article analyses multivariate styles of leadership that depends on two factors: orientation to the solutions of a specific task and attitude to people. The recommended leadership styles are distinguished. They depend on the maturity degree of the performers. There are directive, tutorial, supportive and delegating styles. The article offers the forms and techniques of individual work for the higher school stu-dents. They contribute to the performer’s maturity and to the leader shaping while being on the stage of getting higher education.
