Abstract
The article analyzes the impact of a dysfunctional family and mistakes in upbringing on the development of children's neurosis, considers such negative factors of family education, which promote neurotic personality of a child, as an emotional rejection of the child, making excessive demands, impaired maternal and paternal roles, inconsistent parenting strategies, parental directives.
