Abstract
This article is dedicated to the 110-year history of performance directions, musicals, operas, musical and dance scenes based on the Yakut heroic epic-olonkho in Yakutian and world theater stages, starting from January 1906. The article gives a brief description of olonkho as the largest genre of Yakut folklore, summary of first performance of olonkho on the stage.
