Abstract
Yakut olonkho is a complex oral poetry in its content, its architectonics. In an environment where olonkho carves the way in the epic world space, when range of epic texts publications expands and therefore readership, creating of special works suggests that would help to understand many work of epic creativity of the Yakut people, to understand the secret springs of the storytellers epic thought, in ultimately - to achieve a deeper understanding of olonkho, in general, as a centuries-old monument of the people oral history. There is a need for a consolidated and systematic exposition of the Yakut epic creativity; this problem can be solved in the framework and in the level of encyclopedia. About the concept of such publication is considered in this article.
