Abstract
The article highlights the history of building a culture of independent work of future teacher of physical culture, clarified the concept of "productive self-actualization", "productive self-learner", "productive self-realization of the student youth", "productive self-coach", "the productive realization of the teacher of physical culture", "culture of independent work of the teacher", "culture of independent work of the student".
