Abstract
In the article implemented psychological analyzes of the culture of the Ossetian ethnos. The basis of the analysis were theories by such authors as: G.K. Triandis, G. Hofstede, R. Benedict, K. Popper, A.M. Zimichev. Ossetian culture was classified by the author to the type of collectivist cultures, simple, closed, high-power distance and uncertainty avoidance, masculinity, ethno-centric, the culture of shame. In the article concludes that one of the reasons of harmonious ethno-religious coexistence and interaction have the cultural and typological reasons.
