Abstract
The principal differences between a didactic information complex (DIC)) and a traditional educational and methodical complex (EMC) are revealed. The determination of a didactic information complex (DIC) is formulated. The most important functions of a didactic information complex are listed. The main conditions for the functioning of a didactic information complex (DIC) are identified.
