Abstract
This article is devoted to the analysis of the main of the theorist – methodological approaches to development and realization of population policy. On the example of India, China and EU countries the review of features of population policy of the birth rate focused on reduction or increase in population is given. In detail measures of the state support of families with children in France and Germany are considered.
