Abstract
This article deals with the problem of the correlation between theory and practice of the income generation in non-profit organizations. The paper reflects the provisions related to the lack of clear regulation of non-profit organizations in Russia, causing problems such as reorienting their activities from the production of public goods to the business. In the present study analyzes the basic legislative acts that regulate the activities of these organizations in Russia, as well as specify their fragmentation.
